Good humour - Severe weather conditions

ACCESSING social media might not be an obvious way to ward off the cold but, considering the good humour trending on Twitter, it will certainly help.

We may be running out of bread on the shelves, but there is no shortage of jokes online.

As one Twitter contributor put it: “I’ve just been panic shopping in advance of #BeastFromTheEast, came home with a gorgeous pair of evening shoes, mascara, a mini donut, milk and a roast chicken!”

Another’s shopping list includes:

“Enough Tea bags for a year

6 Gallons of Milk

Crisps

Chocolate

Easter eggs

More Chocolate

Bread for an entire army

Oh & one carrot.”

Nothing beats a good chuckle to warm the cockles.
