Infernal dead rainforest beef and soya are set for a massive increase in output in Brazil and other South American states with thousands of fires ablaze almost as soon as agreement about the EU-Mercosur deal with South American states was announced.
How naive of European Union negotiators.
Streams of burning critical rainforest smoke are being recorded by satellites and the International Space Station, 86,000 fires in Brazil alone. Satellites are able to observe far away gas around distant stars, they should be able to record emissions from Siberian permafrost of methane. Presumably, many spy satellites can see methane.
We are above 415 parts per million of CO2 in our atmosphere, with no reduction in sight and the risks raised regarding climate change.
We also now are being told that ice melting of glaciers is increasing.
We are incinerating how earth produces oxygen for trade deals. Is no one caring at all about the destruction of millions of trees, animals, birds, fish, insects, amid preparation to produce beef and soya?
Why is anyone surprised our continued existence is in doubt, we don’t even try to protect the planet.
There is discussion about falling fertility rates, yet we are at 7.7 billion people, with a figure of 10 billion predicted by 2050.
Most predicting nowadays seems to stop there. Have we incurably attacked Earth like a virus? South Americans need credits to retain rainforests for all living on earth not a dystopian surveillance and a collapsing ecosystem.
We are leaving quite a future for children and grandchildren to face.
