World Cup poser gets her comeuppance
More interested in this than the match

This German fan was so busy playing up for the cameras she never spotted what was happening beside her.

Pretty fans in the crowd have been picked out regularly throughout the World Cup and this German woman desperately wanted to be one of them.

Tossing her hair and tilting forward provocatively, she must have thought she was a shoo-in for a close-up.

But unbeknownst to her, the England fan in the next seat had noticed her efforts and decided to match them with a pose of his own.

The picture has since gone viral, so in the end she got her 15 minutes of fame - but maybe not in quite the way she had planned.
