Wexford look to reschedule this weekend's meet

Wexford are hopeful of being able to reschedule this weekend's meeting again next month after the Saturday and Sunday cards were lost to waterlogging.

The south-east Irish track races mainly during the summer and the jumps fixture was the penultimate one of the year.

"It has been desperate - rain has been falling on saturated ground," said racecourse manager Michael Murphy.

"The forecast for Saturday is for more of the same and we are looking for maybe a couple of Fridays in mid-November to try to reschedule the days."
