WATCH: UCC Demons captain lifts trophy; promptly breaks it

C&S UCC Demons captain Shane Coughlan was so overcome with his side winning the Champions Trophy in basketball, he ripped a handle off the silverware as he lifted it.

The Cork side beat Templeogue 85-73 yesterday to complete a full season undefeated.

Coughlan was presented with the trophy afterwards, but in his enthusiasm to show it off to supporters he managed to wrench one of the handles off.

Oh dear.
