Own goals are an unfortunate hazard of playing football.
But this one, scored in a Swiss Cup match, is really something else.
Defender Adrien Gulfo, playing for Pully Football, was trying to clear a cross when a dodgy first touch led to him attempting an acrobatic clearance that went horribly wrong.
Gulfo's bicycle kick saw him inexplicably slice the ball into his own net.

It's not all bad, though. His side rescued a 3-3 draw and won the game 7-6 on penalties.
