WATCH: Roy Keane tears ‘weak, soft’ Arsenal to pieces

Roy Keane didn’t pull any punches when discussing Arsenal last night.

The London side were beaten by Olympiacos in the Champions League on Tuesday and Keane was clear about the reasons for that and other defeats.

“Listen, they’re soft,” Keane said. “Arsenal are soft, they’re weak.”

"The goals they give away, you’ve got no chance of winning any big game if you defend like that.

"There is a certain weakness to the group. They look like they lack characters, leaders and winners."

The Republic of Ireland assistant manager then showed his colours while discussing Bayern goal machine Robert Lewandowski.

Ireland will have to try and deal with the in-form striker when he plays against them for Poland later this month.

"Hopefully he’ll do well against Scotland and get injured before the Ireland game,” Keane suggested.

Fingers crossed Roy.
