WATCH: Ireland fans get in the mood for World Cup opener

Ireland fans have been sampling (and creating!) the atmosphere around Cardiff tonight as they prepare to shout on Joe Schmidt’s team tomorrow afternoon.

Noel Baker from the Irish Examiner was among them, crawling through the streets and pubs to get a sense of the mood.

There was an overwhelming optimism and excitement among everyone he spoke with too...

Sounds like the only debate is whether Ireland will beat Canada by 50 points or triple scores!
