WATCH: Harry Redknapp reveals the pre-match ritual he shared with Fergie

Harry Redknapp is a regular guest on BT Sport’s Saturday morning football show, ‘Fletch and Sav’.

He was on their couch again last weekend, and told a classic anecdote about matches against Manchester United during the Alex Ferguson era.

Unlike many rival Premier League managers, Redknapp had a good relationship with Ferguson.

So much so, that when they met up before a match, they would often have a flutter on the horses together before kick-off.

Both fans of horse-racing, they would each choose a horse in the 2.45 and then watch the race together moments before kick-off.

While their respective teams were warming up on the pitch, Fergie and ‘Arry were roaring on their selections on the track.

Knowing the reputations of both men, we have no difficulty believing this one.
