WATCH: Conor McGregor has his say on Donald Trump

Never one to pull any punches, UFC star Conor McGregor was quick to give his opinion of American politics during an interview last night.

Filmed before the Republican win was confirmed, the interviewer asked McGregor what he thought of Donald Trump.

His answer was brief and to the point: "I could not give a b*****ks, to be honest!"

According to the Crumlin fighter, the outcome of yesterday’s vote won’t make any real difference to the world.

“Whoever wins, I don’t think anything is going to change,” he said. “I don’t think either of those two have power in anything anyway.

“Whatever, it is what it is.”

Politics sorted, McGregor went on to discuss UFC205 in detail, as he makes a bid to become UFC's first simultaneous dual-weight champion in Madison Square Garden.
