WATCH: Basel is turning red ahead of Europa League final

With hours to go until the Europa League final between Sevilla and Liverpool a red sea has swept across host city Basel.

Although Sevilla are going for an historic three wins in a row, judging by the pictures and videos it is Liverpool fans who are in the majority.

Jurgen Klopp and his squad arrived yesterday and have been followed by an army of supporters.

Former legends are also on hand to support the team - club legend Sami Hyypiä was mobbed by fans when he was spotted in the Swiss city.

Merseyside banner designers are bringing their A-game to proceedings.

A reminder to Klopp - when you ask Liverpool fans to do something, they do it.
