VIDEO: Rugby howler from today’s Super 15

Queensland Reds player James O’Connor made a woeful kicking error today during a Super 15 match against the Sharks.

O’Connor was making a simple clearance kick, but completely mis-hit it and sent it straight into the grateful arms of Sharks scrum-half Stefan Ungerer, who promptly scored a try.

O’Connor had to be consoled by team-mates after the gaffe-of-the-season contender.

To make him feel worse, it proved a costly error - his side went on to lose the match 21-14.
