VIDEO: Atrocious defending in the Cypriot League leads to laughable goal

The Cypriot League started this weekend and Irish footballer Cillian Sheridan got off to a winning start with new club Omonia Nicosia.

Not only did Sheridan score twice, he was also involved in setting up one of the funniest goals in years.

The defenders deserve most of the criticism for being unable to stay out of each other's way in the goalmouth, but the keeper also has to take a share of the blame for the shocking attempt to clear the ball.

This is ineptitude on a grand scale.

If you cannot see the embedded clip, watch from 2.12 for some truly memorable defending.
