UEFA lists Everton defender John Stones in Manchester City's European squad

Everton defender John Stones has been named in Manchester City's Champions League squad for their play-off clash with Steaua Bucharest on UEFA's official website.

Pep Guardiola's club were required to submit their final list of players before midnight on Tuesday and Stones, 22, was included as part of City's squad even though a mooted move from Merseyside is yet to be announced.

A UEFA spokesperson confirmed that the 21-man list published on their official website was the complete list that they had received from City prior to the deadline.
