Tyrone players to undergo operations

Tyrone Senior Football manager Mickey Harte has been dealt a major blow ahead of the upcoming Dr McKenna Cup and National League campaigns, with the news that some of his key players are set for major operations in the coming weeks.

Footballer of the Year 2008 Sean Cavanagh has already had his ankle injury operated upon and is currently recovering from this operation.

Sean's brother Colm is also expected to undergo an operation, while Philip Jordan and Ryan Mellon will join the UUJ student in correcting ongoing problems.
