Twitter reacts to the meeting of Richard Keys and Sepp Blatter

It’s hard to know whether former Sky presenter Richard Keys is completely lacking in self-awareness or actually enjoys trolling.

In 2011, Keys quit his role as Sky’s football anchorman after a sexism scandal that also cost fellow presenter Andy Gray his job.

Sepp Blatter is the former FIFA president who has been hit with an eight-year suspension from all football-related activity, after the organisation was engulfed in a corruption controversy during his time in charge.

So, if those two met you would expect them to keep it quiet, knowing it would prompt a storm of comment from football fans, right?

Wow - not only did Keys post a picture of the two, he also attempted some banter about their respective reputations.

“Turns out he's not such a bad guy - nor is Sepp!!” Kays captioned the image.

Oh dear.

That is just a selection of the many, many tweets Keys has received since posting the picture this morning. As you can imagine, most of them were unrepeatable.

Seriously Richard, you couldn’t see that reaction coming?
