Toulon’s multi-millionaire owner Mourad Boudjellal has breathed life back into the rumours of a possible move to France for Ireland captain Paul O’Connell.

He was asked about the possibility of either or both of O’Connell and South African player Duane Vermeulen moving to Toulon.
The businessman replied that next year: “one of these two will be at Toulon”.

Rumours of a possible move to the Top 14 side for O’Connell first surfaced last month, but were dismissed in a statement from the club.
O’Connell has said he is undecided about whether he will retire after this Autumn’s World Cup, or play one until the summer of 2016.
