Tipp name six newcomers for Limerick clash

Tipperary boss John Evans has named six championship newcomers in his side for this weekend's clash with Limerick.

Aidan Foley, Ciaran McDonald, Paddy Codd, Brian Jones, Sean Carey and Seamus Grogan all make their championship bows.

Only three players survive from the Tipp team that lost to Cork in last year's Munster championship.

Tipperary reached the final of Division Four in the National Football League this year, while Limerick struggled to avoid relegation from Division Three.
