Thomas Barr takes third place at Diamond League meet

Thomas Barr put in a fine performance to take third in the men's 400-metres hurdles at the Diamond League meeting in Oslo tonight.

A fine finish saw the Waterford man record as season's best time of 48.95 seconds.

The race was won by Norway's Karsten Warholm, with Olympic bronze medalist Yasmani Copello ahead of Barr in second.
