This video of Wojciech Szczesny miming All I Want For Christmas Is You is the most awkward 30 seconds of your week

Wojciech Szczesny is one of football’s more colourful characters, but we think the goalkeeper may have gone a touch too far with this rendition of a Christmas classic.

The Poland international seems to have come down with a Christmas fever, and the symptoms are awkwardness with a side of cringe.

This is erm, a bit awkward to watch.

Interesting choice of location Wojciech. The kitchen surely has the worst acoustics of any room in the house.

The video takes a sweet turn towards the end when we find out it was vocalist Marina Luczenko providing the audio with Szczesny, but it’s still pretty unnerving to watch him mime to a female voice.

We’re just glad we don’t have to watch it again.
