Terry misses Cardiff clash

Chelsea captain John Terry misses tomorrow’s FA Cup fifth-round match against Cardiff at Stamford Bridge after being allowed to take leave by manager Carlo Ancelotti.

Left-back Ashley Cole is sidelined with a broken ankle, while midfielder Deco and right-back Juliano Belletti are out with knee injuries.

Ancelotti will rest some of his regular players against Cardiff, including striker Nicolas Anelka and goalkeeper Petr Cech.

Squad: Hilario, Ferreira, Alex, Carvalho, Zhirkov, Lampard, Mikel, Ballack, Sturridge, J Cole, Drogba, Turnbull, Bruma, Ivanovic, Malouda, Matic, Borini, Kalou.
