John Terry will miss Chelsea’s Barclays Premier League game at Manchester City tomorrow.

Blues captain Terry has been feeling the strain of playing twice in four days following his remarkable recovery from knee surgery.

Caretaker manager Roberto Di Matteo is confident the defender will be fit for Saturday’s game with Tottenham.

Provisional squad: Cech, Bosingwa, Ivanovic, Luiz, Cahill, Cole, Bertrand, Mikel, Essien, Meireles, Ramires, Lampard, Mata, Malouda, Drogba, Torres, Sturridge, Kalou, Turnbull.
