Dundalk 2 CS Grevenmacher 1 (Dundalk won 5-4 On aggregate)

Well taken goals from Neale Fenn and Fahrudin Kuduzovic sets up a meeting for Dundalk with Bulgarian side Levski Sofia next week.

Dundalk were quickly rewarded for a very bright start, running up an early 2-0 lead before a crowd of 3,000 at Oriel Park.

Kuduzovic rattled the crossbar within three minutes before winning a penalty when he was brought down by Khalid Benichou scarcely a minute later. Skipper Fenn drove home the spot kick.

A sublime through ball from Fenn then set up Kuduzovic to rifle home Dundalk’s second goal on 15 minutes. Minutes later, Fenn hit the post as Dundalk remained well on top.

The home side continued to dominate into the second-half with Kuduzovic guilty of a bad miss on 79 minutes before heading an Alan Cawley corner against the bar.

Grevenmacher got a consolation goal back right on 90 minutes from a Christian Muller shot from outside the box.
