Sligo climb to fourth

Sligo Rovers 1 Dundalk 0

Gary McCabe’s third goal of the season moved Sligo up to fourth place in the table overnight.

Winger McCabe struck on 63 minutes, latching onto ex-Cameroon international Joseph Ndo’s pass to fire past keeper Peter Cherrie.

The goal was a welcome reprieve for McCabe as he’d missed perhaps an easier chance 10 minutes earlier.
