Sean Maguire ruled out of Ireland's World Cup clash with Denmark

Preston manager Alex Neil has confirmed Sean Maguire will miss the next 3 to 4 months with a hamstring injury.

The striker will undergo surgery in the coming days after sustaining the injury this week.

Maguire is now out of the Republic of Ireland's World Cup playoff with Denmark, with the opening leg in Copenhagen this day next week.
