Sean Connor departs Galway Utd

Galway Utd are looking for a new manager after Sean Connor's contract was "terminated by mutual agreement", the club have announced.

"Galway United Football Club thanks Sean for his efforts under very difficult circumstances and wishes him the best in the future," said a statement.

Connor, former manager of Sligo Rovers, Bohemians and Dundalk, signed a three-year contract with Galway last year.

The bottom-of-the-table side have endured an horrendous run of form, suffering a record 23 straight league defeats before drawing against Dundalk last night.
