Tipperary has received a boost ahead of their Allianz League semi-final against Waterford at the weekend, with the news that Seamus Callanan has been cleared to play.
Callanan was unavailable for selection after being sent off during their quarter-final clash with Offaly, but the GAA Central Appeals Committee last night overturned the red card.
The centre-forward’s first appeal, to the GAA Central Committee, was unsuccessful.
Tipperary had initially said they would not challenge the one-match suspension for striking, but later decided to appeal.
