Puspure wins sculls C final

Sanita Puspure has won her C Final in the women's single sculls.

The Latvian, who was narrowly beaten in the qualifiers for the A/B finals last week, started slowly in her final.

However, she upped the pace after about 400m and eventually finished as the winner by almost eight seconds.

The victory puts her in 13th overall for the event.
