Puncheon returns for vital Blackpool tie

Blackpool boss Ian Holloway recalled striker Jason Puncheon to his starting line-up for today’s must-win Barclays Premier League clash against Bolton.

The striker’s inclusion in place of Sergei Kornilenko was the only change from the side that drew 1-1 at Tottenham last weekend, although Marlon Harewood was on the bench after returning from a loan spell with Barnsley.

Bolton boss Owen Coyle also made a single change, with Ricardo Gardner coming into midfield in place of Johan Elmander as the Trotters sought to end a three-match losing run.

Blackpool: Gilks, Eardley, Evatt, Baptiste, Crainey, Southern, Adam, Vaughan, Taylor-Fletcher, Campbell, Puncheon.

Subs: Kingson, Harewood, Ormerod, Cathcart, Phillips, Reid, Beattie.

Bolton: Jaaskelainen, Steinsson, Knight, Cahill, Robinson, Lee, Muamba, Gardner, Taylor, Kevin Davies, Sturridge.

Subs: Bogdan, Petrov, Klasnic, Moreno, Blake, Cohen, Wheater.

Referee: Andre Marriner (W Midlands)
