Pressing given Italian job

Pressing is on course to bid for more glory abroad when he goes on his travels again in two weeks’ time.

None of the seven-year-old’s 13 career victories have come on these shores, yet he has notched 10 Group wins overseas – including two at the highest level.

Pressing is reported in fine form after landing the Topkapi Trophy in Istanbul for the third year running three weeks ago.

“He goes to Milan in two weeks’ time for a Group One over there,” trainer Michael Jarvis told At The Races.

“He loves getting into the horse box to travel, so that’s his next target.”
