Premier League rumours: Chelsea Keane on Burnley defender

The Daily Mirror reports Chelsea are prepared to pay up to £25 million for Burnley’s Michael Keane to help solve their defensive crisis – the Blues are understood to have made a preliminary inquiry about the former Manchester United centre-back, who was wanted by Premier League champions Leicester in the summer.

Chelsea could also make a January move for Tottenham full-back Ben Davies, claims ESPN.

Man United midfielder Juan Mata has held talks over a new contract with manager Jose Mourinho, according to the Sun.

The Daily Mail says Arsenal are monitoring Sassuolo striker Gregoire Defrel, who has also been watched by Premier League rivals Liverpool.
