Poyet has options ahead of Spurs clash

Sunderland boss Gus Poyet has once again reported a clean bill of health as he prepares for Saturday evening’s Barclays Premier League clash with Tottenham.

Defender John O’Shea was Poyet’s only real concern after appearing to aggravate the groin problem he suffered at Aston Villa last weekend during Wednesday night’s 4-3 defeat by Chelsea.

However, the Republic of Ireland international has been able to train normally and is expected to be fit.

Provisional squad: Mannone, Pickford, Celustka, Dossena, Bardsley, O’Shea, Brown, Diakite, Roberge, Cattermole, Cabral, Gardner, Ki, Giaccherini, Johnson, Larsson, Ba, Karlsson, Mavrias, Fletcher, Altidore, Borini, Ji.
