POLL: Ireland team watch: Who should start at 13?

POLL: Ireland team watch: Who should start at 13?

As Ireland ready themselves for Saturday’s opening match of the World Cup, we are asking readers their opinion on certain key areas.

So far you have had you say on loosehead prop and a partner for Paulie in the second row.

Our readers overwhelmingly chose Iain Henderson to start alongside O’Connell against Canada and so did ex-Ireland and Munster stalwart Peter Stringer.

He’s given his views on team selection for the weekend and is keen to see Henderson start.

His opinion on outside centre might raise a few eyebrows. Rather than Jared Payne, he’d like to see either Keith Earls or Luke Fitzgerald given the chance to show off their attacking skills in the centre.

Do you agree? Have your say in our poll.
