ALLIANZ NFL DIVISION 1B

Galway 0-8 Laois 0-8

Galway and Laois shared the spoils in an entertaining NFL Division 1B game at Tuam Stadium.

Having been 0-2 to 0-5 behind at the break, Galway fought back to lead by a single point. But Laois earned a draw when corner-forward Chris Conway right-footed over an injury-time free from distance.

Points from Ross Munnelly, Joe Higgins, Conway (0-2) and Padraig Clancy saw the midlanders end the first half in front.

Galway, with Padraig Joyce slotting in at full forward, improved after the restart and white flags from Derek Savage, Joyce and Nicky Joyce helped them peg back the visitors.
