Waterford’s Noel Connors tweeted Eden Hazard after their Allianz Hurling League victory on Sunday.

The Déise claimed their first League title in eight years with a dominant 1-24 to 0-17 win over Cork in Semple Stadium.

Noel Connors celebrates after the final whistle on Sunday.

Earlier in the day Chelsea had claimed their first Premier League title in five years after a 1-0 victory against Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge.

Connors sent a tweet to the Chelsea midfielder to let him know that another set of Blues were champions in Ireland.

Unfortunately no response from the Belgian star yet, although Connors’ cheeky tweet went down very well with his followers.
