Ozil invites newlyweds to game after bridegroom dedicates wedding toast to the player

Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has invited a football fan and his new bride to a game at the Emirates after he received a glowing tribute during their wedding speeches.

The life-long Arsenal fan gave a touching speech at his wedding, talking about the special person who had come into his life a couple of years ago.

“I think everyone in the room knows this person has made me the happiest guy on the planet,” he said.

He then asked everyone to prepare to toast that special someone...Mesut Ozil.

His wedding guests burst out laughing and it turns out the German World Cup winner also appreciated the joke.

The bridegroom tweeted a clip of the speech to Ozil, who responded on Saturday with an invite to a game.
