Ouch! Footballer left in agony after studs up challenge

We’re guessing Sener Ozbayrakli is feeling sore in a very sensitive area today.

The Turkish midfielder took a studs up challenge to the groin from Yuri Zhirkov during the first half of their 0-0 draw with Russia in Antalya.

You know it’s a bad one when the whole crowd goes “oof” in sympathy.

The Russian was booked for the challenge but that probably wasn’t much comfort to Ozbayrakli, who was left rolling around the pitch in agony.
