Obama pays tribute to Robbie Keane

Barack Obama has paid a gushing tribute to Robbie Keane in Washington - jokingly referring to him as "a cousin of mine".

The US President was hosting a reception for Major League Soccer champions LA Galaxy at the White House.

His first comments about the team were to praise Robbie Keane - ahead of David Beckham - who the President teased about his age.
