Sporting Fingal 1 Sligo Rovers 1

Conan Byrne’s second goal of the season salvaged a point for Sporting Fingal at Morton Stadium.

Eoin Doyle scored for the second match running to put Sligo in front after 15mins.

A mistake by Sporting left-back Lorcan Fitzgerald, who chested down a cross from John Russell, set up Doyle to shoot past Brendan Clarke.

Sporting hit back 12 minutes later when Byrne scored with a snapshot from the edge of the area.
