Galway United 2 Sligo Rovers 2

Goals from Gary Curran and Karl Sheppard saw Galway come from behind to earn a big point in this four goal thriller at Terryland Park, but it wasn't enough to prevent Sean Connor's Tribesmen slipping back into the relegation play-off zone.

Sligo led 2-0 after 38 minutes with strikes from Richie Ryan, on 11 minutes, and former Galwegian John Russell.

But Curran got a goal back four minutes before half time.

Sheppard then latched onto Stephen O'Donnell's pass to fire the equaliser past Ciaran Kelly on 63 minutes.
