The Bundesliga has long been dominated by a small number of clubs, with Bayern Munich winning the competition for the past four years.
But it seems newly-promoted RB Leipzig have something to say about that.
Leipzig only earned promotion from Bundesliga 2 last season, and in what is their first ever campaign in Germany’s top division, the Red Bulls are now top of the league after a stunning 3-2 win against Bayer Leverkusen.
Having been 2-1 down, Leipzig managed to recover thanks to goals from Emil Forsberg and Willi Orban, taking the lead in the final 10 minutes of the game.
They’re only a young side, too.

Red Bull Leipzig beat Bayer Leverkusen 3-2 to remain unbeaten and go top of the Bundesliga.
This would be something to rival Leicester City’s stunning Premier League title, wouldn’t it? But remember the Foxes were enjoying their second Premier League season on the trot, rather than their debut.

The team have won eight and drawn three of their league fixtures so far, losing none, but Bayern Munich have a game in hand over their new rivals.

Regardless, being top of the league is a pretty special feeling.
Let’s see if they’re still there at Christmas, eh Leicester?
