New Meath manager to be appointed tonight

The identity of Meath’s new senior football manager should be known following tonight's meeting of the county board.

Eamon O'Brien, who served as a selector during Sean Boylan’s reign, is favourite to take the job.

Former Longford and Westmeath manager Luke Dempsey has also been interviewed for the position, but is now being heavily linked with a return to Carlow.
