Murphy ready for Premiership final

Ireland back three player Geordan Murphy is preparing for a colossal challenge as his Leicester Tigers face London Wasps in the Guinness Premiership final at Twickenham on Saturday.

"To be fair Wasps are a great side and one who we have got to know well over the past few years," he said.

The Tigers will be determined to repair the damage done by Wasps' defeat of them in last year's Heineken Cup final at the same venue.

"They are almost seen as grudge matches, but at the same time we have a huge deal of respect for them as they are a very good side," said Murphy.

"We know we are going to have to be bang on top of our game if we are to stand a chance of winning at the weekend."
