Mulcahy earns point for Saints

Bohemians 1 St. Patrick's Athletic 1

Dave Mulcahy worked the oracle once again for St. Pat's with a dramatic late equaliser at Dalymount to keep Pete Mahon's side top of the Premier Division table.

Gypsies’ skipper Owen Heary led by example to give his side the perfect start with the lead goal after just four minutes.

Heary got forward from the back to rise and superbly head home Killian Brennan’s cross.

But Saints battled back and got their reward three minutes into stoppage time at the death when Muclahy, who'd also scored a vital equaliser last week, latched onto a deflected Derek Doyle cross to rifle to the net.
