Mooney on song in Cork win

Dave Mooney hit a brilliant double as Cork made it four wins in five games to move menacingly up to third place in the table.

Mooney struck a sublime opener on 44 minutes when collecting Joe Gamble’s pass to curl a stunning strike past Matt Gregg.

The Dubliner added the clinching second goal on 57 minutes when diving low to head home Darren Murphy’s cross in from the right for his eleventh strike of the season.
