Marty Morrissey shows off hurling skills in crossbar challenge

By Stephen Barry

Marty Morrissey is a man who knows how to please a crowd – but who knew he had such hurling skills to back it up!?

The proof came with this Marty Squad crossbar challenge, filmed in Passage East, Co. Waterford.

First Marty warmed the crowd with his patented Marty Morrissey antics before unleashing a perfect strike.

Cue wild celebrations from the RTÉ man!

Marty even bettered Waterford All-Star Noel Connors and former attackers Eoin Kelly and Paul Flynn…

Maybe Waterford could find a spot for him alongside Maurice Shanahan!
