Listowel cancelled due to waterlogged track

Today’s meeting at Listowel has been called off due to a waterlogged track.

The track raced yesterday after passing an inspection but following another check this morning, the course is now unraceable, with officials keeping a close eye on conditions as racing is scheduled every day until Saturday.

Horse Racing Ireland tweeted: “Listowel cancelled today, track currently waterlogged. The situation is being monitored with regard to Tuesday’s fixture.”
