NBA superstar LeBron James had decided to line out for his former team, Cleveland Cavaliers.
The ex-Miami Heat forward declared for free agency last month and after considering his options he has decided to choose his first professional team.
The 29-year-old endured plenty of criticism for leaving Cleveland for Miami after seven years in 2010 and went on to win two NBA titles and two finals MVPs at his new franchise.
"When I left Cleveland, I was on a mission. I was seeking championships, and we won two. But Miami already knew that feeling. Our city hasn't had that feeling in a long, long, long time. My goal is still to win as many titles as possible, no question. But what's most important for me is bringing one trophy back to Northeast Ohio," he told Sports Illustrated.
