Kolo Touré got a brilliant Wikipedia update

Kolo Touré’s entry in Wikipedia was amended in the aftermath of Liverpool’s match against Real Madrid on Tuesday.

The English side lost 1-0 at the Bernabeu, but Touré and some of the other fringe players produced decent performances.

Touré in particular was credited with preventing the in-form Cristiano Ronaldo from scoring - and someone decided the achievement was so notable it warranted a mention on Wikipedia.

They amended the second line of his entry to read -

“He recently kidnapped Cristiano Ronaldo Alvaro de Souza Sanchez Leite and kept him in his back pocket for 90 minutes.”

Unfortunately, the entry has already been edited to remove the reference to Ronaldo.

Never mind Kolo, Wikipedia might be changed but the memes will live forever.
