Kenyan Freddie Keran Sittuh wins Great Limerick Run

Thousands of people turned out earlier today to participate in the Great Limerick Run.

The men's marathon was won in 2 hours 21 minutes by Kenyan Freddie Keran Sittuh, while for the second year in a row, the women's marathon was won by Liz Hussy in a time 2hrs 53.

All roads in the city have now reopened.
